MinRes Energy is a vertically integrated Energy Division within Mineral Resources Ltd which provides power and energy solutions to our Mining Services division, it's clients and to our Min Sites. We are looking towards renewable energy solutions and displacement of diesel power generation by a larger uptake renewables, supported by of our own gas resources using pipelines and trucked LNG.

**About the role**

MinRes Energy is seeking a **Land Access & Social Performance Lead** who will be responsible for management of land access and Social Performance for MinRes Energy including planning, scheduling, project management for land access & community engagement to support project delivery.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Monitoring and maintaining key project dates and targets for land access, working with other project managers to ensure all operational needs are considered.
- Land Access execution plans.
- Liaison with internal (and external as required) legal for advice on complex land access agreements or arbitration requirements.
- Work with JV partners to progress land access agreements as required.
- Analysis and advice for land access execution and planning with Land Access officers.
- Negotiate complex land access and compensation agreements for energy.
- Draft letters of a legal nature to landholders as required, informing of their rights in accordance with the Act(s).
- Integrate community and stakeholder engagement plans into a broader strategy for building and maintaining a solid social licence in the areas in which we operate.
- Partner with key stakeholders to agree strategic opportunities to support development.
- Lead a team of emerging Land Access professionals.

**Necessary skills and qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Environmental or equivalent experience
- Driver's Licence
- 10+ years' experience in a community, land access, approvals, tenement management or statutory role.
- Demonstrated experience in tenement management, land, or stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient knowledge of Petroleum Act & regulations, Aboriginal Heritage Act and Native Title Act desirable.
- Self-discipline to work autonomously and in a team environment and willingness to assist others to achieve common goals
