Job Summary

The Stakeholder Manager plays a critical role in securing land tenure for national construction projects across various clients, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction to the stakeholder land access team to ensure open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder management plans.
  • Identify and consult with key external stakeholders and authorities regarding land access and construction.
  • Plan and coordinate community engagement sessions with affected stakeholders, including landowners and indigenous groups.
  • Negotiate and present to various audiences to achieve project objectives.
  • Consult and guide operational teams to optimize work methods and land access processes.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Town Planning & Environment or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within the Telecommunications industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Land Access.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-performance teams.
  • Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations.
  • Proven technical knowledge of Customer Access Network (CAN) assets, work practices, and standards.
  • Proven knowledge of the Telecommunications Act 1997.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of environmental regulations and State and Local Regulatory Compliance.
