This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant data initiatives and work with cutting-edge cloud technologies.About the Role:As a GCP Cloud Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, testing, and deploying data solutions within the Google Cloud Platform.
You'll work closely with project teams and Business Intelligence specialists to ensure data requirements are met and integrated seamlessly.
This role focuses on BigQuery tables, BigQuery views, and GCP Data Transfer Service (DTS) ETL jobs.
You'll also provide valuable technical guidance and knowledge transfer.Key Responsibilities:Design, document, build, test, and deploy new or modified Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery tables, BigQuery views, and GCP Data Transfer Service (DTS) ETL jobsLiaise with project and BI team members regarding technical data designs for GCP tenancyIdentify, design, and document required GCP changes to accommodate data in BigQueryEnsure designs for BigQuery tables, BigQuery views, and DTS jobs align with Business Intelligence application and end-user requirementsBuild, system test, and deploy GCP changesProvide technical direction and knowledge transfer to the BI team and end-usersSkills & Experience You'll Bring:Minimum 3 years of experience in Google Cloud PlatformProven experience as a data warehouse architect or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing conceptsProficiency in SQLExcellent communication and collaboration skillsFamiliarity with Business Intelligence visualisation tools (e.g., Microstrategy, Power BI, Tableau)Experience with agile/scrum and waterfall development methodologiesA commitment to excellence and continuous improvementIf you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role within a dynamic environment, apply now
