Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance within the GCP environment.
Optimise data processing workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
Support the migration of on-premise data systems to the GCP platform.
Create and maintain documentation for data architecture and processes.
Stay updated on the latest GCP tools and technologies to recommend improvements.
The Successful ApplicantA successful GCP Cloud Data Engineer should have: Proven expertise in designing and managing data solutions using GCP technologies.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
Experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Beam or Dataflow.
Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other GCP services.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Understanding of data security principles and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams.
What's on Offer Daily rate of approximately $810 - $990 AUD, commensurate with experience.
