Cloud Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data solutions using Google Cloud Platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data pipelines on GCP with BigQuery and DataForms, collaborating with teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, optimizing BigQuery performance and managing cost-effective data storage, developing and maintaining workflows in DataForms to enhance data orchestration, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through robust transformation and integration processes, monitoring and troubleshooting GCP infrastructure to maintain seamless operations, partnering with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable data platforms, and documenting and sharing best practices to drive organizational knowledge growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven expertise in GCP with a focus on BigQuery and DataForms
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex query tuning
  • Familiarity with GCP tools such as Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and pipeline development
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based data architecture and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
