Overview

Senior Platform Engineer GCP to join Australia Post's digital technology team. You will help design, build and maintain Cloud Platform Engineering solutions with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), supporting engineers and delivering secure, scalable platforms for the business.

Responsibilities

- Take endorsed architecture patterns and be responsible for design, build and implementation of Cloud Platforms solutions with technical leadership in design, coding, and configuration.

- Drive discussions, provide leadership, and enable Australia Post to lead the industry in GCP Platform Engineering best practice to support business outcomes.

- Lead remediation of vulnerabilities and security issues within the GCP Platform and support other teams.

Qualifications / Skills

- Google Cloud Platform technologies and services; security and compliance engineering concepts.

- Proven experience within GCP building and supporting cloud platforms.

- Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages.

- GCP Cloud Certifications are highly desirable; ideally other cloud certifications as well.

- Subject matter expert for GCP cloud platform related activities.

- 5 - 7 years engineering cloud platform solutions.

- Experience in 2-3 software development languages (e.g., Golang, Open Policy Agent, YAML, JSON, Terraform).
