Job Title: Cloud Architect Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect Specialist to lead our data engineering team in designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions.

This role involves architecting large-scale data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics in cloud environments. You will design and implement data models, data storage, performance optimisation, security, DevOps, and test automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, including hyperscaler platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering: Design and implement scalable data pipelines and distributed systems using Snowflake and/or Databricks.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code for cloud environments using Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Helm, and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Cloud Architecture: Expertise in cloud-native architectures and hyperscaler platforms.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and SQL with deep knowledge of performance tuning, sharding, partitioning, and indexing.
  • Database Technologies: Understanding of relational, NoSQL, and cloud-native storage solutions.
  • CI/CD and Testing: Experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure-as-code.
