**Specialist Coordinator Occupational Therapy**

**Hollywood Private Hospital**

**Temporary full time: 12 months contract**

**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the private inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining a clinical caseload through comprehensive assessment, intervention and discharge planning
- Co-ordination of all aspects of the Occupational Therapy rehab team including the leadership and supervision of Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants
- Advising, consulting, and liaising with other MDT coordinators to ensure quality service delivery.
- Initiating and coordinating quality improvement projects to enhance the delivery of occupational therapy services, streamline processes, and achieve better patient outcomes.
- Working with the OT Manager to identify education needs within the department and implement effective education sessions.

**What you'll bring**
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, or equivalent, with AHPRA registration
- **Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, ideally as a supervisory role**:

- Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to contribute to the development and promotion of a cohesive and interactive team
- Flexible and positive approach to work.
