We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Traineeship Program Coordinator. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the Aboriginal health care sector.
About the RoleThis position plays a pivotal role in the Indigenous Health Workforce Traineeship (IHWT) Program, working across Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) in Western Australia.
Key Objectives:- Increase the number of skilled Aboriginal people working in the Aboriginal health care sector;
- Create viable career pathways in the health and community services sector for Aboriginal people;
- Build the capacity of ACCHS to provide culturally appropriate health care to Aboriginal people.
- Coordinate program/project administration, recruitment, training, or related fields;
- Understand the vocational education and training (VET) sector and qualifications delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs);
- Maintain strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and good time management;
- Foster excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Plan and coordinate workload effectively;
- Demonstrate strong written communication skills for drafting correspondence, editing documents, and writing reports.
