Alongside this, you will be responsible for proactively and effectively manage all aspects of caseloads of worker's compensation claims within the SA legislation and compliance guidelines.

The purpose of this role is to provide early, timely and personal service to workers, employers, providers/stakeholders and family/support networks whilst providing an empathetic customer experience through a deep technical specialisation in complex claims. This position works in an environment where people are passionate about helping others, with a focus on customer service and support to all stakeholders to provide pro-active, tailored, timely and effective management of specialised claims.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers;
- Deliver personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employers;
- Conduct community based visits inclusive of but not limited to work sites or medical clinics on initial triage of a claim and at significant milestones during the life of a claim;
- Ensure case management is in accordance with SA legislation and compliance guidelines;
- Pro-actively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans in accordance with EML's guidelines and agreed department and Return to Work SA standards;
- Adopt a service-orientated approach that is focused on early intervention and the interests of workers and employers

**ABOUT YOU**
- Knowledge of the relevant worker's compensation legislation and regulations is considered beneficial but not essential
- A basic understanding of medical terminology is considered advantageous
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Sound negotiation and influencing skills
- Empathy and understanding for others
- The ability to effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
