We are seeking a Claims Specialist to join our team. This role will be based in our Adelaide office and is a hybrid position that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

The successful candidate will provide superior and professional claims service to customers and stakeholders, while utilizing the services of external providers to service general claims for motor, property, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and administer new claims, including liaison with customers, repairers/suppliers, and other parties.
  • Undertake technical claims administration, including gathering information, claims determination, preparing correspondence, calculating settlements, and processing payments.
  • Assist the Divisional Manager with the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of claims data as required.
  • Identify and pursue all opportunities for recovery.
  • Monitor outstanding claims via a diary system to ensure prompt settlement in line with internal procedures and policies, meeting quality assurance and service standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised.
  • Capacity to recognize trends and anomalies in claims data.
