AIM Insurance Services continues to be one of the leading insurance loss adjusting companies in Australia. Our recent alliance with global giant Allied Universal has led to further growth and an exciting opportunity for a Claims Consultant to join the team.
Your opportunity
The role involves assisting the Loss Adjusters with their caseloads, managing CAT and event run-off claims together with a small portfolio of your own claims.
Responsibilities also include first contact with policyholders after they have lodged a claim and as such, the position suits a confident and experienced person with a positive and empathetic phone manner.
A minimum of two years' experience in the insurance, claims, building and/or restoration industry is required.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing a small portfolio of property claims
- Assisting Loss Adjusters with their caseloads
- Adhering to Service Level Agreements and Industry Standards
- Lodgement, triage and allocation of new claims
- Initial contact with policyholders and brokers
- Arranging emergency repairs or make-safes
- Liaising with clients and updating external client systems
- General claims management and administrative duties
