An exciting opportunity has arisen to support a busy partner and team of lawyers in Corrs' Commercial Litigation practice group. This position is suitable for an intermediate or experienced legal assistant.

This is an opportunity to work within a busy and bustling practice. You will be a team player and possess excellent diary/inbox management skills, previous billing experience as well as having strong communication skills, as internal and external relationship building is an important aspect of this role. In addition, there are event organisation and travel booking components in this role. Experience in or knowledge of litigation processes e.g. Court filing would be an asset but is not essential.

**Key responsibilities**:
Preparation of correspondence and documents
Compiling and processing of time sheets
Good understanding of billing processes
Assisting with telephone enquiries and ability to develop relationships internally and externally
Matter management including opening and closing files, archiving, electronic filing and physical filing.

**Required skills and experience**:
Exceptional organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Advanced knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of CMS Aderant or other finance related software
Advanced knowledge of NetDocuments or other document management software.
