This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and motivated Legal Assistant to join this highly regarded law firm and further develop their career in Litigation (Government, Planning & Environment) law.

If you enjoy a hands on role, then this varied role will definitely appeal.

Providing comprehensive
**secretarial and administrative support to a Partner on a 1:1 basis **within the Government, Planning & Environment team, some of your duties will include, but not be limited to;
- diary management and arranging appointments
- word processing and dictaphone typing of legal documents and general correspondence
- preparing court correspondence
- filing and indexing of original legal documents
- taking telephone calls and assisting where appropriate with enquiries
- assisting with preparation of documents for court hearings
- liaising with clients
- general administrative tasks

**Skills and experience we'd love...**
- previous legal secretarial experience ideally in litigation law
- advanced MS Word and typing skills
- a keen eye for detail
- the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- excellent inter-personal skills
- a genuine interest to work in Litigation
