Are you looking to kick-start your career in legal support? Join our collaborative and high-performing Dispute Resolution & Litigation team at Sladen Legal.

We're currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join us three days per week (Wednesday to Friday). This role will be a job share arrangement, working alongside another Legal Assistant who will cover Monday and Tuesday. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either starting out in the legal industry or currently completing a Certificate IV or Diploma (Cert V) in Legal Services. While prior experience is not essential, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn are a must.

About the role:

  • Provide administrative and legal support to the DR&L team

  • Assist with document preparation, file management and correspondence

  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Assist with billing

  • Contribute to a smooth and efficient team environment

About you:

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to grow

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Currently completing or recently completed a Certificate IV or Diploma in Legal Services (or similar qualification)

  • Interest in litigation and dispute resolution
