Our eco-friendly resort offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning environment while providing exceptional guest experiences.As a permanent part-time Housekeeping Attendant, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest accommodation.
This role offers consistent part-time employment of up to 76 hours per fortnight.
You'll work across a broad 7-day rostering system 4/5 days a week (including weekends and seasonal holiday periods).
We have opportunities for 'live on' positions where you will live and work on island at Kingfisher Bay Resort and 'live off' positions which will require the willingness to commute to and from Hervey Bay to the resort for scheduled shifts.ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough cleaning tasks in guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.Ensure all resort areas are consistently clean and orderly, including public spaces, corridors, and common areas.Adhere to strict safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.Handle and report lost and found items following resort policies.Assist guests with requests and inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient room turnovers and cleaning of public areas.Promptly report maintenance issues and damages for resolution.Follow established procedures for waste disposal.QualificationsPrevious housekeeping experience in a hotel or resortStrong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies and to be able to work in the warm weather during summer days.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.A commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.Employee Benefits - conditions apply$1000 Annual SeaLink Employee Travel Allowance Worldwide ALL Heartist Bienvenue benefitsComprehensive training providedAccess to resort facilitiesFree ferry transfers to-and-from the island 25% off resort dining, retail and spaFree Island 4WD bus toursAbout us K'gari is a World Heritage listed island off Australia's Eastern Queensland coast, is the world's largest sand island, stretching over 120km.
