Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Kingfisher Bay Resort is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team on K'gari (Fraser Island).

The successful candidate will support the Housekeeping Manager with workforce management, administration, rostering, and operational service of the entire housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and perform various cleaning duties of Hotel Rooms and Apartments in compliance with resort standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and provide necessary training to staff to ensure standards are met.
  • Supervise and provide mentorship to team leaders.
  • Monitor as required the disposal of laundry and garbage and recycle items where necessary.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, including compliance of maintenance and HSE reporting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a housekeeping supervisor role in a similar environment and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment.
  • Current Australian drivers license (preferred).
  • Previous hotel or resort cleaning experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks with a commitment to deliver results.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.
  • Experience in motivating team members to achieve targets and outcomes.
