**The Opportunity**:
This is an in-house position with a financial-tech start-up. Having launched in 2019, the company has experienced significant growth, and it is expected to expand rapidly in the future. The role will be assisting the legal counsel and a small team of lawyers in relation to corporate and commercial issues, with additional training on co-sec duties. It is a great opportunity to join a business that puts work-life balance and its people at the forefront of what they do.

**The Role**:
This role is a temporary position (3-6 months) with the intention of becoming permanent/full-time as the company expands. The company is eager to find someone that will grow with the business and they are happy to support the paralegal to eventually become a member of their legal counsel.

**Duties include**:

- Legal research
- Document review using Relativity, Ringtail or similar
- Use of LexisNexis and Westlaw
- Draft correspondence
- General administration

**The Requirements**
- Strong organisational skills to manage a large number of files at a time and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal staff
- A team player, willing to help others when necessary
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible with the ability to manage change effectively.
- Independent but able to work as part of a team.
