Only About Children (OAC) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Paralegal** to join our small and collaborative legal team. Reporting to the Head of Legal and working closely with our Legal Counsel, this permanent role provides critical support across a wide range of legal, governance, and compliance matters.

Based at our St Leonards Support Office, you'll enjoy flexible, hybrid working arrangements (3 days in-office) and the opportunity to grow within a purpose-driven organisation.

**About the Role**

This is a fast-paced, varied, and hands-on role supporting the legal function at OAC. You'll help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day legal operations by managing documentation, coordinating contract workflows, maintaining governance registers, and assisting with compliance obligations.

Whether you're reviewing contracts, helping prepare board materials, liaising with stakeholders, or managing records - you'll play a vital part in protecting and enabling our business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drafting and reviewing standard contracts, templates, and correspondence
- Maintaining legal registers, contract repositories, and governance documentation
- Supporting corporate compliance and reporting obligations (including parent company reporting)
- Assisting with privacy, risk, WHS, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external legal providers as required
- Supporting legal projects across commercial, property, leasing, and regulatory areas
- Helping manage litigation and insurance documentation processes
- Providing general administrative support to the Head of Legal and Legal Counsel

**About You**

You're organised, adaptable, and eager to build your career in a collaborative in-house environment. You thrive on variety, take initiative, and have a genuine interest in legal operations and compliance.

You'll bring:

- Tertiary qualification in law, legal studies, or a related discipline
- 2+ years' experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Contracts Administrator (in-house or firm)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with MS Office and confidence using legal or business systems
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with a team-first mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Desirable (but not essential)**:

- Experience in early childhood, education, health, or another regulated sector
- Familiarity with corporate governance, leases, or commercial contracts
- Understanding of privacy, risk, or WHS compliance
