Polczynski Robinson is a boutique law firm delivering specialist advice to our valued clients. We are recognised industry leaders in the areas of commercial disputes, insolvency and trade credit insurance and surety. Our offices are based in Sydney (Walsh Bay) and Melbourne.

The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Paralegal to be based in our Sydney office.

This role is a great opportunity for a 3rd year law student to gain exposure to a wide variety of paralegal work and be mentored by talented litigators in a collegiate environment.

You will be involved in a variety of interesting and challenging commercial disputes representing our clients across a number of industries including, restructuring and insolvency, technology and insurance and also assist in the establishment of a precedents/resource library for the firm.

Not only will the successful Paralegal have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of commercial disputes, you will also have the opportunity to learn from and be mentored by Special Counsel (including Accredited Specialists) and Directors of the firm.

The firm will actively take an interest in developing your skills and career with a view to progressing through to a Graduate Lawyer role and beyond.

About you

To be successful in this position you should be in at least your 3rd year of your Law degree and will have:

  • a strong academic record

  • strong attention to detail

  • exceptional communication skills

  • self-sufficient individual who is able to work on information analysis with limited supervision

  • experience working for a law firm or in-house legal department

  • undertaken subjects with a commercial/litigation focus
