Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to support our APAC and Latin America legal team in developing compliance policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to in-house paralegal work, supporting senior lawyers in a unique and varied role.

  • Support the development of compliance policies and procedures across APAC and Latin America.
  • Perform legal research and analysis of legal issues across APAC and Latin America.
  • Review, draft and revise commercial contracts (including confidentiality agreements, consultancy arrangements and service agreements).
  • Support the review of promotional materials across APAC and Latin America.
  • Provide litigation support to the APAC and Latin America legal and compliance functions.
  • Assist with due diligence when entering new foreign markets in the APAC and Latin America regions or appointing new third-party business partners.
  • Maintain company secretarial records for all subsidiaries across APAC and Latin America.
  • Manage workflow for the legal and compliance function, including opening new files, closing files and entering data into the file management system.

About You:

  • Bachelor of Laws student (second or third year) with a distinction average.
  • Availability to work 20 hours a week with two full working days and one-half day (Tuesday to Thursday).
  • Some experience working as a paralegal or within a similar professional environment.
