**THE ROLE**
An opportunity exists for a results-focused administrator/receptionist who prides themselves on delivering outstanding customer experiences to join Clarendon as our Lifestyle Studio Administrator who wants to gain practical on the job experience whilst receiving extensive training and a Certificate III in Business.
Reporting to the Lifestyle Studio Manager, you will utilise your strong customer service and admin skills as you support a team of colour consultants and business partners in supporting our customer experience as they select the finishing touches on their home.
Your key duties include:
- Provide exceptional customer service through the entire customer selection experience
- Administrative duties and help out on reception when needed by answering phones and providing assistance to customers
- Interact and communicate effectively as part of a team, with senior management, business partners and customers
- Work independently and manage your workload without constant supervision
- Relate to a wide cross-section of people
- Providing support to the Studio Manager, Studio Coordinator and Colour Consultants
- Read through tenders and variations
- Read and interpret floor plans
- Use estimating software when possible to provide pricing and raise quotes for customers
- Maintain and constantly develop a thorough knowledge of Clarendon Homes' specifications, product ranges, services, and processes to confidently interact with customers
- Action all post-selection amendments and follow-ups from customers and internal departments
- Deliver completed paperwork with both accuracy and efficiency to both customers & relevant departments
- Maintain a high standard of showroom presentation
- Must be able to work 1/2 day Saturdays on reception
**ABOUT YOU**
To be successful, you will have a proven background in administration, have a passion for the building industry. Strong communication and organisation skills are a must for this exciting and busy role. You will need to be able to multi-task and follow the process and procedures of a busy and successful Colour Selection Studio.
- Prior experience in administration or design support
- Have an interest in interiors and colours (desirable)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Fantastic customer service and communication skills
- Be mature, professional, responsible and have strong attention to detail
- Have a professional, friendly and upbeat demeanour
- Have the ability to work as part of a bigger team
- Have the ability to multi-task and use your own initiative
- Be confident, well presented, have a positive attitude and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Have a flexible approach and the ability to work well under pressure
- Able to meet strict deadlines
