Across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding all the way to off-boarding and everything in between, we fuel Canva's hyper-growth by delivering seamless, scalable, and delightful employee experiences.- The People Shared Services Team- Our People Shared Services Team, known as "People Central" internally, sits at the core of the employee lifecycle, responsible for onboarding, off-boarding, and managing all queries that flow through our service desk. As the first point of contact for all People requests and inquiries, People Central is naturally the largest team in People Ops and specialises in high-volume tasks that require efficiency & precision, delivering outstanding customer service and keeping our systems and data accurate. Within People Central, the Onboarding squad works closely with our recruitment and internal teams to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience and is currently onboarding over 100 new hires each month. The Helpdesk squad is responsible for managing our ticketing channels, which includes triaging, resolving or escalating cases. Lastly, the Offboarding squad manages departures across Canva.- About the Role- The People Shared Services Lead is responsible for the leadership and direction of the People Central team as we grow rapidly over the coming years. We are expecting massive growth of the Canva team globally and will need to scale up our operations including expanding the breadth (new markets and geos) and depth of services (new capabilities) as this function becomes increasingly streamlined and automated as the engine that powers the entire People team.**What you'll do (responsibilities)**:

- Ensure HR services are reliable, intuitive, and responsive to the needs of the business across multiple geographies.
- Oversee the efficient and accurate delivery of HR transactions, with a constant focus on improving delivery against service level agreements, to raise customer satisfaction, and improve organisational productivity through self-service.
- Champion Canva's people systems, processes, and tools. This includes driving new opportunities for procurement, integration and automation.
- Collaborate across the entire People team, as well as with other functional areas such as People Systems, Finance, Payroll, Total Rewards, Legal, and IT teams.
- Responsible for seasonal goal planning and delivery, impact and salary reviews.
- Grow skills and impact within the team by focusing on growth pathways, coaching, job rotations and stretch assignments.
- Foster a high-performance, people-first team culture by pursuing excellence, empowering others, and being a force for good.

**What we're looking for**:

- **Technical/ Specialist Skills/ Experiences**:

- Extensive global experience in SLA-driven HR shared services team
- Strong capabilities in using data to drive business insights
- Expert in process optimisation and harmonisation across different regions, scaling initiatives and global project management and change implementation.
- Familiar with best-in-class onboarding, offboarding, helpdesk, and self-service practices
- Well-versed in HRIS like Workday (or similar) and ticketing systems (JIRA, Zendesk)
- Exposure to global mobility, contingent workgroups, project and compliance, legal, and people systems technologies
- Strong background in personal data privacy and best practices
