**Job Description**:
**The Business Support Representative (BSR) is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers (both internally & externally) on behalf of the company by taking personal and complete responsibility for each customer contact and by ensuring that all customer requirements are completely met. As the Business Support Representative, you serve as the primary internal representative of our organization, you must convey to the customer a sense of expertise in our Materials Business. The BSR is also responsible for communicating customer requirements to the production team, in accordance with company policies and procedures.**
**You are a member of the Sales and Marketing Team, and together you are accountable for meeting the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and sales goals of the company. These in turn are essential in meeting all company goals.**

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:
**Business Support**
- ** Acknowledge and appropriately assist every customer in a timely manner.**
- ** Process customer orders within the measured time frame**
- ** Ensure orders are processed within our DC capacity**
- ** Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company, soliciting only those desired products/services provided by the company and its vendors to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs.**
- ** Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.**
- ** Attend customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution.**
- ** Understand and appropriately use the company system and policies.**
**Sales Support**
- ** Support the efforts of the Outside Sales Representative(s) by promoting the image of our company as a leader in the Materials industry.**
- ** Support Sales through service, education, and effective problem solving. Involve appropriate team members as needed.**
**Key Accountabilities**:
- ** Provide an excellent level of friendly & professional customer service and support via phone and e
- mail in line with core business values.**
- ** Work as an integral part of the business support team to ensure customer service targets are met.**
- ** Develop a thorough understanding of all Avery products and processes.**
- ** Enter & coordinate customer orders including processing, availability, lead times, status of orders, delays etc.**
- ** Accurate data entry**
**KEY RELATIONSHIPS**
**Maintain effective working relationships with**:
- ** All Sales office - Branch Manager / Sales Execs / Business Support Representatives**
- ** Planning / Purchasing / Operations Departments**
- ** All Head Office support functions**
- ** External Customers**
**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU**:
- ** At least two (2) years Customer Service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment**
- ** Exposure to Sales or Supply Chain / Logistics will be well regarded**
- ** Enthusiastic, resourceful and an organized individual that has a high attention to detail**
- ** Professional and competent communicator (both verbal and written)**
- ** MFGPRO and SalesForce system knowledge preferred but not essential**
- ** Intermediate computer skills (eg. Microsoft Office and Google Apps)**
