**What you will be responsible for**:

- Supporting procurement operations for 23 Business Units in our Aluminium Division across Australia
- Monitoring supply risk, quality, price, and lead times with domestic and international suppliers
- Supporting effective management of stocked items to improve inventory availability using a customer-centric and data-driven approach
- Fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a competitive market advantage
- Evaluating supply tenders and preparing purchase orders
- Processing import documentation, invoices, and shipments efficiently
- Maintaining delivery dates and coordinating inward goods
- Embracing a continuous improvement mindset

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of proven procurement experience with exposure to the supply chain
- Experience with analytical tasks related to domestic and international freight and shipping
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of importing
- Demonstrated problem resolution skills
- Exceptional computer skills with experience in MS Office, purchasing software, databases, and BI tools
