Australia HCF (Australia) Full time $100,000 - $140,000 per year

Responsible for delivering sustainable procurement value through category management including strategic sourcing, key improvement initiatives, commercial negotiations and driving the supplier management activities. The position will also support the development or procurement frameworks and processes. This will be a highly visible role within the organisation and will work with senior leaders across the HCF Group.

This is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior leaders across the HCF Group to deliver best-in-class procurement strategies.

What you'll do

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned procurement categories, developing and executing strategies that deliver measurable value.
  • Manage a pipeline of procurement initiatives and deliver projects from sourcing through to contracting and implementation.
  • Drive supplier management activities, rolling out frameworks across spend categories to improve performance and outcomes.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, tender evaluations and key initiatives with a results-focused approach.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted business partner to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Provide actionable insights on supply markets, spend, opportunities and risks to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of procurement frameworks, processes and infrastructure to embed continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in mid to senior procurement roles (Category Manager or above).
  • Industry certification or membership (e.g. CIPS).
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proven ability to deliver cost savings and value.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement practices and vendor value management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse spend, performance, opportunities and risks.
  • Understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles.
