
Youth Programs Team Leader

**About the Role**
In this role the Team Leader will support the Youth Program Manager with administrative duties whilst also providing support and guidance to the Youth and Flexible Learning Options (FLO) teams as required. The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing internal group programs and support with facilitating supervision to the Youth team.
You would support the Youth Program Manager build the capability of team members by coaching and mentoring Youth Workers, including supporting the induction of new staff/students. Also facilitate quarterly group supervision within Youth Worker in Schools model at school sites.
This is a Part Time role of 24 hours a week on a Fixed Term contract until 23/11/2025 based out of our Salisbury and Melrose Park offices. The role will also have requirements to travel across the broader Adelaide Metropolitan region.
**About You**
To be successful in the role you will be able to:
- Provide guidance and leadership to the Youth team in the delivery of services, day to day operations, performance and KPIs.
- Support with the management of budgets including preparing invoices.
- Work with the Youth Program Manager to conduct and attend Business Development Activities, establish and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders and external parties (including Schools) ensuring professional relationships are established and leveraged to develop new business for Workskil Australia.
- Oversee the delivery of internal programs, including managing referrals, attendance and program expenditure.
- Adhere to contractual guidelines including maintaining case notes and participant files in accordance with policy, ensuring information is recorded on the relevant database
- Ensure administration requirements are accurate and up to date within reasonable timeframes.
- Provide reports and other information to management and other relevant parties in accordance with requirements.
- Ensure the delivery of the service and interactions with stakeholders is positive, professional, and in line with Workskil Australia Values, Code of Conduct, policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the Integrated Management System and assist with continuous improvement activities.
You will also be required to:
- Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent (higher) qualification.
- It is desirable for you to have demonstrated experience in a management or leadership role.
- Have a full and unrestricted SA Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

**Remuneration**
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
