Our client a Global Oil and Gas Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Logistics Demand Planner for a 18-month contract.

The role is intended to be the person responsible for the forward-looking plan, aligning logistics strategy with the Project strategy and monitoring of plan vs upcoming milestones. Project management is included in the scope as the role will include project support for next operational phases as the project moves through its readiness program e.g., Project phase, Project to Asset phase and Operate phase.

It will be a primary interface with the Project team, Logistics Team, Planning and Source teams. This role will be crucial as Logistics support for integrated activity planning to ensure all commitments for the project can be maintained if the project drilling phases align.

**Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for allocating upcoming demand to resources, ensuring capacity is available.
- Identification of constraints or opportunities in upcoming phases for efficiency gains, cost reduction to achieve Operational Excellence.
- Responsible for milestone mapping, inclusion allocation of tasks, monitoring progress against plan including presentation on dashboard.
- Support with future load planning for material movements to / from location.
- Project management for Logistics elements of Project Phase readiness including attendance at workshops, supporting Project Contractor with documentation and alignment to logistics practices.
- Project management for Logistics elements of Project to Asset phase and Operate phase. Determine demands, inputs and changes to logistics strategies.
- Focal for alignment between Project Contractor Supply Base in Darwin, and current Supply Base in terms of material holdings, upcoming demand, preservation or special requirements.
- Primary interface between Project Team, Planning and Source for management of future scope.
- Engagement in Service Level Agreements, including owner of cost forecasting. Includes any forecasting or allocation based on demand in Project phases between sharing assets.

**Key Skills and Experience Required**:

- Professional qualification in Supply Chain / Project Management or equivalent with 5 years experiences in the O&G industry, preferably within Logistics operations.
- Decision making skills under pressure.
- Project Management or Project Administration
- Skilled Supply Chain Strategy and Implementation
- Skilled in Supply Chain Analysis
- Skilled in Supply Chain Planning, integration and optimisation
- Skilled in Supply Chain intelligence
- Skilled in analysing performance reporting
- Knowledge in Logistics operations
- Knowledge in Business Partnering
- Competency: Power BI
