The job is to develop and improve demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels across the business, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end planning process maintaining optimal inventory levels, improving service levels and reducing excess stocks.

You will be part of a tight local brand team in a larger national corporate structure that is growing and well-funded.

About the Role:

  • Take ownership of the demand forecast which supports the wider Supply Chain function to meet market demand.
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process within demand planning
  • Prepare reports and analysis on forecast accuracy and demand trends
  • Work closely with product managers to ensure product life cycle and status is maintained
  • Reconcile variances and refine forecast models, understanding demand forecast drivers.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop proactive mitigation plans
  • Continuously identify areas for process and system improvement,
  • Collaborate on new product launches, deletions, & range review

You

  • Exposure to demand planning & inventory management
  • An understanding of procurement concepts, processes, activities, and trends.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and consistently meet deadlines,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
