Job Opportunity: Metro Planning and Scheduling

As a family owned business, we are seeking a Trainee Metro Planner Scheduler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive a safety culture by reporting incidents and hazards immediately.
  • Update daily Metro Bookings Sheet for deliveries.
  • Update daily Metro Pickups Sheet for local pickups.
  • Maintain good records of activities.
  • Contribute to positive customer relationships by keeping customers informed of service issues.

To be considered you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Logistics/Warehousing.
  • Some systems experience (ERP interface) Abacus or similar.
  • Good MS Office skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deal with multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers an opportunity to further your career in a leading provider of temperature controlled transport & logistics.

Experience with temperature-controlled freight is desirable but not essential.
