
Inventory Planner Position

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee the supply of inventory from our suppliers and ensure maximum possible service level to our customers.
The successful candidate will report to the Supply & Demand Manager, working closely with demand planning, warehouse, and logistics teams to manage the flow of inventory and optimize cost to serve.
This role is responsible for managing purchasing of inventory from third-party suppliers to meet customer requirements. You will provide suppliers with purchasing forecasts and receive communication on issues impacting supply.
You will be responsible for configuring individual supply chains for each supplier, including stocking location, order frequency, minimum order size, logistical parameters, etc.
You will introduce new lines and suppliers into our range, collaborating with internal teams to determine best fit.
Master data accuracy is essential in this role. You will maintain SKU-level master data in the system to ensure data accuracy.
You will report on current and potential service level issues, product obsolescence, and monitor customer service misses and projected stockouts.
Collaborating with suppliers to establish market intelligence and alliances for innovation of our brands and categories is a key aspect of this role.
Liaising with internal, external, and NPD stakeholders to support new and existing marketing and NPD plans is also important.
This role may develop into a dual Supply & Demand Planner position in the future.
