Coordinator - Operational Excellence, APAC Controls Deployment & Service at AWS Infrastructure Services.
This team owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, including data centers and related systems.
The role focuses on coordinating control systems deployment, project execution, and service activities to ensure reliability, security, and cost efficiency across APAC data centers.
Responsibilities
Process Work Orders, Change Orders, and Purchase Requests with accurate documentation and vendor coordination.
Partner with Controls Engineers, Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams to complete critical deliverables.
Provide Operational Planning (OP1/2) inputs and support multi-million dollar project procurement processes.
Design and implement automation solutions to streamline routine coordination tasks.
Identify process inefficiencies and develop systematic improvements across coordination workflows.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Supervision of processes in procurement or financial or legal processes; Operations support experience coordinating and managing operational issues and escalations; Vendor management experience including setting expectations and managing billing milestones.
Preferred Qualifications: Process improvement through analysis, documentation, and automation; Automation development using AI tools, APIs, or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript); Data analysis and visualization with dashboards and data tools (SQL, QuickSight); Program management across multiple initiatives; Contract review experience including terms and project details.
What Success Looks Like
Successful processing of POs/WOs/COs/tickets and efficient vendor coordination.
Timely completion of procurement and operational tasks with measurable improvements.
Delivery of continuous improvements across coordination workflows.
