Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running and support all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling to ensure continual access to our customers. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and are looking for talented people who want to help.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
The Data Center Capacity Delivery Asia-Pacific Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team delivers and services the control systems which monitor and ensure the health of our data centers. APAC CDS' mission is to safely provide our customers with the unmatched reliability, security, and performance that AWS is known for. APAC CDS covers three core disciplines of deployments (control systems in new data centers), projects (control systems capital improvement at live data center sites), and service (control systems at live data center sites), with additional specializations in colocated sites, systems engineering, controls fleet, on-call support across global time zones, and governance.
As Amazonians, we work in a competitive environment. Our customers are always beautifully, wonderfully dissatisfied. Success in our roles includes evolving and innovating beyond the basics, acknowledging that change is constant across customers, roles, teams, tools, and mechanisms.
What you will need to be successful
Ability to thrive at the pace and scale of Amazon
Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities
Ability and willingness to collaborate with peers around the globe, with possible meetings at odd hours
