Here at Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart, we are Tasmania's premier conferencing and events facility. With a total of 11 conference and meeting rooms, we cater for events of all sizes; think gala balls, trade-shows, and conferences for up to 1100 delegates

**About you**

If you're experienced in planning events in smaller venues and are ready to step it up and join the biggest and most successful convention centre in Tasmania, then this is the role for you. It's the perfect opportunity to grow your career in Events in a place that does it all

You're an outgoing person who is full of energy and thrives off meeting new people and building rapport with them. You are articulate, efficient, detail-driven, and organised - lists are your best friend

**About the role**

In this role, our clients' biggest events are in your hands You will be ensuring that every little detail has been thought of and executed to a tee This includes working with each department in the hotel to fulfil our clients' requirements as well as guiding our Banquets Department to put all your plans into action You're the client's go-to person; creating a bond that you'll come to miss when the event is all over.
