Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced events coordinator to join our team as a Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of events and functions, working closely with the events coordinator and the food and beverage team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the setup and breakdown of events and functions
  • Ensure all events and functions are delivered to a high standard and in accordance with hotel standards
  • Work closely with the events coordinator and the food and beverage team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Monitor and control costs associated with events and functions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
  • Assist with the planning and execution of large-scale events and conferences

Requirements

  • Experience working in a similar supervisor position in a hospitality venue
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
  • Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail
  • Passion and knowledge about food and beverage products
  • Excellent communication skills with a warm personality both in person and via mail
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Valid DoFoodSafely Certificate
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Flexibility to work shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
