In this position, you'll work with our business leaders to champion WSP's approach to client experience in developing strategic marketing and pursuit strategies and leading the implementation of positioning activities for specific clients, opportunities and pursuits.

Tasks and activities will include:

- Champion WSP's Guiding Principles and ensure a safe working environment is always maintained.
- Lead a client-focussed culture across the region/s and firm, championing WSP's approach to client experience and key account management as the client development lead for targeted clients and opportunities.
- Support a number of key clients in the Resources and Transport sector.
- Contribute to the development of key account plans and market plans for targeted clients, markets and regions, providing guidance and support to Key Account Managers, Client Directors and Regional Directors.
- Lead and develop the pre-positioning strategies and manage the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns and client engagement activities that align with business strategic objectives and key pursuits to position our team to win work and improve brand perception. Demonstrate return on investment through evaluation and reporting.
- Support Key Account Managers and Client Directors in better understanding their clients and areas of business improvements through client feedback on bids and projects. Identify trends, report and make recommendations.
- Support and facilitate client mapping tasks to identify strengths and opportunities for targeted clients, opportunities and/or regions to inform positioning and client engagement strategies and activities.
- Build relationships with client organisations/partners' marketing and communications team members on major projects to ensure WSP is part of profiling activities and is leveraging our involvement to strengthen the brand.
- Build relationships with industry associations to identify marketing and positioning opportunities and maximise the value of these partnerships.
- Develop client engagement strategies and value propositions for business key growth areas.
- Line management responsibility for selected team members. Coach and mentor team members and technical staff in client development practices and client experience processes.

- Demonstrated experience in developing marketing, client positioning strategies and implementing activities to foster growth.
- Proactive and high-level interpersonal skills with proven ability in delivering outstanding levels of service to internal and external clients, and other stakeholders.
- A team player with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior and technical stakeholders through trust, collaboration and demonstrating value.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- A proven all-rounder who can drive strategy, as well as develop and managed compelling thought leadership content and client engagement activities.
- Have strong project management skills and the resilience to work under pressure, managing multiple stakeholders and business priorities.
- Established networks with leaders across the industry.
