Job Description
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of mechanical systems for large-scale infrastructure and building projects. Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of mechanical engineers and broader building services professionals to deliver outstanding results.
Oversee the design and delivery of complex mechanical systems, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
Apply your technical expertise to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
Champion a culture of open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect among team members.
Contribute to strategic business growth, resource planning, and client engagement, fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Requirements:
Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in building services, possessing a strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications.
Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing engineering teams, leveraging strengths and addressing areas for improvement.
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and client management skills, able to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effective solutions.
Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, resourcing, and project performance, driving efficiency and productivity.
