Manufacturing Excellence Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Excellence Leader to drive asset reliability, equipment performance, and world-class maintenance practices in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with our Safety Management System.
  • Lead the execution of preventative and corrective maintenance, track KPIs (OEE, MTTR, ME, etc.), and continuously improve uptime and efficiency.
  • Be a driving force behind TPM activities, Lean tools, and digital maintenance systems. You will lead shutdowns, support NPD rollouts, and elevate our maintenance culture.
  • Scope and execute CAPEX plans to future-proof our operations, contributing to a 3-year capital pipeline that supports growth and innovation.
  • Develop and empower your team through coaching, performance reviews, and capability uplift. Role model our behaviours and foster a collaborative, solutions-focused environment.

As a Manufacturing Excellence Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems. Your goal will be to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity while maintaining high-quality products.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven leadership and coaching capability – you know how to lead, develop, and get the best out of a high-performing team.
  • Engineering Qualifications (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) and a passion for the manufacturing industry.
  • Prior experience in high-speed packaging or manufacturing environments.
  • A strong track record in maintenance and reliability, process improvement, and project execution.
  • Action-oriented, analytical problem-solving skills, and a mindset that challenges the status quo.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean, TPM, or similar systems.
