**Work as a Venue Services Officer in a local theatre for a Local Council.**

There are two positions being recruited for:
**1. Box office/reception role,** Approx 20 hours per week working part time hours as a Casual (between 9-5pm Monday to Friday), _**pay rate $31.88-$33.91.**_

**2. Venue Services Officer,** Approx 15 hours per week working casual hours casually (between 9am-11pm Thursday to Sundays depending on when required), **_pay rate $31.88 per hour + penalty rates as applicable._**

**About the roles**

The two staff are to provide broad based hospitality services including ushering, functions servicing, front of house, box office and bar/cafe service assisting patrons, hirers and staff.

You'll be required to deliver excellent customer service that is welcoming, friendly, focussed and flexible, and of course a good can do attitude is a must

**What you'll need to be successful**
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to work within a team to deliver excellent customer services to all clients, attendees and staff involved with theatre presentations, functions and events
- Be able to operate eftpos and cashier systems efficiently
- Experience working front of house, box office and/or hospitality operation ideally in a live theatre or performing arts centre
- Level 2 Workplace First Aid
- Food Handling and Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal skills, including basic problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated experience in direct face-to-face Customer Service roles
- Satisfactory Police and Working with Children Checks are required to be obtained/provided upon successful placement
