Join us as Junior Supply Chain Analyst for the Process Automation Business Area where you will be contributing to the successful delivery of PI and EN projects through the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to ensure business targets are met whilst maintaining compliance to ABB's global procurement policies, health and safety processes, and quality standards. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and this position will be based in Fortitude Valley, Australia.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Supply Chain Manager in the implementation of global and local supply chain strategy and procurement initiatives.
- Driving your own professional development plan with on-the-job learning and participation in internal and external training programs as required for compliance and career progression
- Supporting sales and project teams by managing the procurement process from the initial tender phase through to execution and project closeout
- Leading low-value negotiations with suppliers with the support of the SCM manager
- Designing and implementing procurement plans to deliver value and mitigate risk
- Maintaining compliance to ABB's global and local procurement processes and policies
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers to manage performance and overcome challenges
- Utilizing, maintaining, and developing ABB's procurement tools and entering and maintaining data in ABB's tools and reports to ensure data integrity and reliability

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Law, Accounting, Information Technology, Economics, or similar qualifications or equivalent work experience
- Recent graduates or those looking for a career change in supply chain management and procurement
- Basic understanding of business, procurement, and logistics
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly developed soft skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with data analytics and PowerBI (or similar) preferred
