Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize stock management, relocation planning, and production planning for various equipment types.
  • Manage day-to-day queries from the business regarding stock holdings at plants and monitor order requirements.
  • Prepare short and medium-term production forecasts per material at plant level and track against this forecast.
  • Prepare the weekly relocation plan required to balance equipment across the network at optimal timing and cost.
  • Stakeholder Management with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Planning experience within supply, production, or transport.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience in SAP required.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, sense of urgency, decision-making skills, pressured environment, team player.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise across all levels.
