Avocados Australia Limited (AAL) is the representative industry body for the Australian avocado industry. They provide a range of services to members and the broader industry to foster growth and development.

AAL works with all parts of the supply chain, from production through to the consumer. Their purpose is to supporting Australian growers to become world leading sustainable producers and their vision is for a globally competitive and trusted Australian avocado industry.

**About the role**
Significant growth in Australia's avocado industry with increasing supply volumes, is driving the imperative for the industry to access new, large international markets.

Working with management, staff and Board you will drive market access for Australian avocados into priority new markets, developing strategy for clear market access, drawing on your knowledge of Australian government processes as well as key influencers in target markets.

**About the person**
The Chief of Export - Market Access will:

- have strong connections with government and DAFF to drive market access negotiations
- be strategic in developing strong in-market relationships with government trade officials, importers, retailers and other key influencers
- work closely with the Avocado Export Market Development Manager, to meet DAFF requirements for export accreditations to encourage increased industry participation in exporting to protocol markets.
