Air Freight Export Manager Job

As an Air Freight Export Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operational activities within the Air Freight Export team. Your primary goal will be to drive cost minimisation and gross profit maximisation on every shipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily operational activities within the Air Freight Export team.
  • Drive cost minimisation and gross profit maximisation on every shipment.
  • Support the achievement of operational KPIs and country targets.
  • Proactively monitor operational performance and implement process improvements.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure resolution of operational issues.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to optimise service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, global policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain high levels of supplier performance and resolve workflow issues.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to your team.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Achievement of productivity and service quality targets.
  • Retention of key accounts and resolution of escalated customer issues.
  • Effective leadership and resource allocation.
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
