A Tassie icon, J Boag and Son Brewing (Boags) has been producing its brews steeped in the rich history of the land it calls home

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Trade/Fitter to join the team at the James Boags Brewery in Launceston, TAS.This is a Permanent Full-time on-site role, the position is predominantly day shift Monday through Friday. The hours of work will be a 36-hour week comprising of either a 3 x 12 hour or 4 x 9 hour week, with occasional additional on-call work.

As the Mechanical Trade, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, process and equipment improvement projects, fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs. You will work across a variety of areas and processes including Brewing, Packaging and Utilities.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- With your diagnostic skills already evident, this role would suit a logical thinker that has experience using problem solving tools.
- Experience within brewing, manufacturing, mining or FMCG is highly regarded.
- Any experience working on packaging machines, pump installation and maintenance would be highly regarded
- Team player, passionate and willing to go the extra mile to make a difference.
- Experience with SAP EAM for work order and materials management along with computer literacy is desirable.
- A 'safety first' mentality
