**About the role**:
Operating in the fast-paced environment of our Yates Padstow site in south-west Sydney, this is a great opportunity to join our team as a Supply Chain Planning Manager on a fixed term contract and lead a team focused on improving and optimising planning activities to safely achieve a service, quality and cost advantage for the business.
Day to day you'll be driving and improving the supply chain performance of our Yates Business. You will facilitate and improve the business S&OP process, monitor and improve customer service levels through planning processes oversight and vendor management, facilitate the supply chain elements of new product induction and product lifecycle management. You will support and develop your team of direct reports to ensure strong engagement and performance.
The role is a 3-6 month contract with future permanent opportunities within the wider DuluxGroup available.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain an engaging process that supports (and is supported by) the sales and marketing departments
- Ensure that the business has a demand plan matched by an appropriate supply plan.
- Responsible for the production scheduling and planning processes
- Monitor and improve business systems and process that support the above
- Lead, coach and develop the planning team

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience as a Planning Manager/Senior Planner in a consumer goods environment - including production scheduling, purchasing, demand and vendor management
- Strong experience with the SAP ERP system
- Excellent ability to build strong, collaborative teams
