**HE OPPORTUNITY**
This position presents a unique opportunity to be part of the newly formed TAFE NSW Integrity Unit in one of the leading education providers in Australia. As a member of the Integrity Unit you will be promoting a culture of transparency, accountability and integrity across TAFE NSW. The Corruption Prevention Specialist is responsible for the intake, assessment and case management of suspected fraud and corruption matters, including the assessment and compliance with Public Interest Disclosures as well as supporting fraud prevention and corruption control processes, systems, controls, and outcomes to reduce fraud and corruption risks and drive organisational performance.
The role will work closely with the Professional Standards & Ethics team which undertakes or oversees most internal fraud and corruption investigations. Apart from the triage of detection rules, it is not anticipated that this role will undertake many internal investigations, rather the role will assist in the response to any relevant recommendations made by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), the NSW Audit Office, Public Service Commission or other integrity related regulator or authority.

**BOUT YOU**
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in fraud and corruption investigations and control for a government agency or a large organisation along with detailed knowledge and experience in implementing best practice Fraud Control Guidelines. Current knowledge of fraud and corruption risks and best practice controls including the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act, the Public Interest Disclosures Act, Fraud and Corruption Control Standard, AS8001-2021, and Whistleblower Protection Regimes are essential.
You will have proven understanding of how to manage competing priorities and timeframes and proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders. Experience or proven ability to prepare senior briefings such as ministerial, senior executive and Independent Commission Against Corruption briefings on serious matters is required for this role. Demonstrated experience in providing management advice on fraud and corruption prevention risks, internal controls, probity and corruption prevention activities is essential to this role. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities are important in this role along with ability to respond in a flexible and agile way to changing timelines and requirements.
