The Governance, Assurance and Integrity team plays a crucial role in developing policies, frameworks, and processes for governance, risk, fraud, and corruption control and assurance.

This team member will support proactive detection of instances of fraud and corruption and report to relevant teams and the Executive.

Supporting Comcare's obligations relating to fraud and corruption detection under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 is a key responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop effective fraud and corruption detection practices;
  • Conduct data analysis to identify potential fraud and corruption risks;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address identified risks and areas for improvement;
  • Provide regular reports to the Executive on fraud and corruption activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A combination of counter fraud and corruption activities qualifications or experience, and data analytics or intelligence qualifications or experience;
  • Australian citizenship;
  • Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check);
  • Employee Health Declaration;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
