Fraud Prevention Specialist

Job Description:

The Fraud Prevention Specialist is responsible for managing and developing financial crime frameworks to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You will work closely with risk management teams to implement policies and standards, provide advice and guidance to stakeholders, and conduct ongoing risk assessments.

Your role will involve reviewing risk in change proposals, challenging operational processes, and coordinating financial crime risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage financial crime compliance frameworks
  • Provide SME advice and guidance to business stakeholders
  • Review risk in change proposals and assess impact on financial crime risks and controls
  • Challenging operational processes and controls to prevent financial crime activities
  • Be the central point of contact for escalated queries and suspicious activities
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a financial crime compliance team
  • Experience in developing and providing advice on financial crime compliance frameworks and policies
  • Strong understanding of financial crime obligations including AML/CTF, sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption
  • Understanding of financial crime operations processes
  • Experience in conducting financial crime risk assessment and investigations
