Operations Manager

**About the role**:
InfraBuild Reinforcing have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Senior Leadership team in NSW. Reporting to the State Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible and accountable for operations and planning, including the safe, compliant and reliable delivery of reinforcing bar, prefabrication and related services, ensuring the operation is appropriately resourced, cost effective and delivering to our customers in full and on time.

Responsibilities include:

- P&L responsibility
- Overall leadership and development of the St Marys operation
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset
- Ensure the highest standards in our operations so that customer service and DIFOT is exceptional
- Support the successful delivery of major Infrastructure projects
- Engage the team and develop workforce capability
- Lead by example and promote best in class safety culture
- Ensure compliance and corporate governance requirements are met

The foundations required to be successful in this role include:

- A proven track record in an Operations leadership role within a large organisation
- Knowledge of construction (residential and major projects) and heavy manufacturing industries, including markets, customers, competitors, trends and innovation
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills with proven experience delivering solutions
- Implementing change and bringing others on the journey
- Developing the capability of the workforce through coaching, training and mentoring
- Leading by example and making safety a priority in the work environment
