The Opportunity
Our client is a high-profile SaaS business, based in Melbourne's inner suburbs.
We're seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join on a 4-month contract basis with strong potential to extend.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a global payroll of 800+ employees, with exposure to US payroll highly valued.
Beyond BAU, you'll have the opportunity to lead payroll projects and transformation initiatives.
You'll also manage and develop a medium-sized team, ensuring payroll operations run seamlessly while driving continuous improvement.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Financial Controller your key responsibilities will include the following:
Manage end-to-end global payroll processing for 800+ employees across multiple regions
Ensure compliance with local tax, superannuation, and employment regulations
Support US payroll processing and reporting requirements
Prepare reconciliations, reporting, and audit documentation as required
Drive process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in HRIS and payroll systems
Support payroll projects and process improvements as required
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll, ideally in a global environment
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements
Exposure to US payroll processes and compliance (highly regarded)
Proficiency with ADP payroll system preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
